Siestamar Apartments, Cala’n Porter Again a good alternative to hotels, the Siestamar apartments in Cala’n Porter are located close to the resort facilities, and the beach. There are two separate Siestamar complexes, seperated by a road, and Siestamar 2 is the more lively with evening entertainment. Both have swimming pools and a children's play area.

The play area is pretty basic but adequate (see the photo below).

Our advice is that the Siestamar complexes are fine for a self catering apartment holiday, but the apartments aren’t the most modern and don't have many facilities (most don't have a television for example), but if you're out and about a lot you'll be ok, the village centre and beach areas are a short stoll away.

But really they're suitable for just the peak months of June, July and August outside of season the apartments can get cold, they don't have air conditioning or central heating.

This one of the hotels in Menorca that is really suitable for couples rather than families. Santo Tomas itself is a small resort with a couple of good restaurants and a good beach. To see more of Menorca there is a bus stop close to the hotel and a couple of car hire places (The one in the hotel is generally more expensive than the one in the village). Overall one of the best Menorca hotels for couples, and perfect if you really want to enjoy the hotel pool and facilities plus the resort facilities rather than see a lot of Minorca.
